Another installation by some classmates!
This one is Button Happy by Switchyard Studio.
I really enjoyed this one at nuit blanche as well, and know a little bit more about it since I volunteered for a few hours in crunch time to untangle wires.
Everyone was so excited with this one, once they figured out how it worked, they had so much fun looking for which light was associated with which button.

Top Down by BRDG lab.
Some classmates of mine made this installation for nuit blanche.
My photos certainly are not the best ones I’ve seen, but I figured I would share their awesome work :)

The Elgin Theatre.
It was my first time seeing it when my friend and I went in to see a nuit blanche installation. There was a piano playing with no pianist. Pretty creepy and cool, but what a beautiful theatre!

more photos of my little trip to toronto island. it was a pretty nice afternoon!
I rented a bicycle which let me get around to see everything pretty well. I would love to go another time to get to know it a little better, and maybe I will. Because this will be the site of my final project for studio this semester.

I made a trip out to Toronto Island for the first time the other weekend. Here are a few photos.
I’ll upload some more soon. Including photos from nuit blanche which I went to that night.

Starting to re-look at my studio project from the winter. These diagrams are not clean at all, and I am going to work on putting them in illustrator, but they are really valuable already. I wish I had done this originally at the beginning of the process. There are a lot of things I have learned at school, and one thing (which I unfortunately keep forgetting) is to not let a mandated design process impede on my own understanding of the project and its possibilities.

So here are all the drawings I have worked so hard on for the last week.
The reviews are tomorrow so I am hoping to get some feedback, or maybe not.

A surprise photo, meaning I was trying to take a picture of the building behind these vehicles, but this happened instead. I like it anyways though :)
Check out 103 Church St. in Toronto, Ontario.
Nice ionic and corinthian capital patterns, although kind of funny at the same time.
I am doing a lot of drawings of this building for a studio project where we are looking at buildings and their relationship to urban fabric as well as their circulation armature.
More drawings/photos/etc. coming soon

Had another opportunity yesterday, to see the 54th floor of the TD Bank tower which is just how Mies van der Rohe designed it!

Had a great opportunity to see it yesterday! Its really cool, except I think those composite metal panels are only going to last so long.
